Box Hill School students and staff celebrated a fantastic 100% pass rate for this year’s A level cohort.
26% of students achieved A levels at A*- A, 56% A*- B with 83% of all students achieving A*- C grades. The school has performed very well in traditionally academic subjects such as English, Maths, Further Maths, Geography, and Chemistry as well as performing strongly in Economics, Business Studies, Psychology and PE.
As always, we are delighted with the performance of all our students and immensely proud of what they have accomplished. A few highlights include:
M Abina – A*, A*, A* - University of Cardiff to study Dentistry
Junsung P – A*, A*, A - University of Bath to study Mechanical with Automotive Engineering
J Burns – A*, A, A – Taking a gap year
H Morrison – A, A, A – Royal Holloway, University of London to study Ancient History and Philosophy
Headteacher, Mr Lowde commented that; “Box Hill School is an academically non-selective international school; an achievement of a 100% pass rate is a fantastic result and a testament to the hard work of both students and teachers.”
Pupils will be leaving Box Hill School to take up places ranging from the highly acclaimed Russell Group universities to popular courses at other UK and International Universities including Nottingham Trent, Bournemouth and SHL Schweizerische HotelFachschule Luzern (Switerland). Alongside, sought-after apprenticeship schemes and Gap years.
