Moon Hall is proud to unveil two transformative developments that mark a
bold new chapter in our commitment to Special Educational Needs (SEN)
provision and the broader neurodiverse community.
In an extraordinary international collaboration with New Era Education,
Moon Hall has successfully transformed a visionary concept into reality
with the opening of Moon Hall Cairo (moonhallcairo.com). This state-ofthe-
art learning centre, now fully operational, was brought to life from its
initial concept in just 14 months; a remarkable feat compared to the
typical 3–4-year timeline for a project of this scale. The launch brings
Moon Hall’s renowned dyslexia-specialist ethos to Egypt, offering tailored
education and assessments to meet the growing needs of children and
families across the region.
“It is a tremendous honour to bring the Moon Hall vision to life in Egypt
through the launch of Moon Hall Cairo,” said Lucy Pelling, Head of
Assessment Centre (UK) and Founding Head of Centre (Cairo). “This
project represents an ambitious step forward - not only in scale, but in
impact. To have taken it from concept to completion in just 14 months is a
remarkable achievement, and I’m thrilled to see the Moon Hall ethos now
making a difference internationally. We are proud to extend the
excellence and integrity of our work to families in Egypt, and to offer the
same specialist care and insight that has transformed lives in the UK.”
In tandem, we are thrilled to introduce the rebrand and official launch of
the Moon Hall Assessment Centre UK (mhacuk.com) website - operating
as a standalone, enhanced provision, from the Moon Hall School Reigate
site. With a refreshed identity, Moon Hall Assessment Centre provides
means-tested, in-depth assessments for both children and adults. As
demand for diagnostic services continues to rise, the assessment centre
plays a critical role in closing the gap between need and access,
ensuring individuals receive the timely support they deserve.
Moon Hall Assessment Centre has transformed access to specialist
assessments for children with specific learning difficulties, removing longstanding
barriers that have hindered timely support. By working closely
with parents, local schools, and professionals, we’ve developed a vital
service that ensures no child is left waiting unnecessarily for the help they
need. Across the UK, families often face assessment wait times of 18
months or more through Local Education Authorities (LEAs). Moon Hall
Assessment Centre has reduced that wait to an average of just 8 weeks,
enabling early diagnosis and early intervention - both critical in shaping a
child’s long-term educational success.
Our means-tested model is central to our mission: it ensures that
assessments are accessible regardless of a family’s financial
circumstances, so that cost is never a barrier to crucial support. Early
identification unlocks the pathway to tailored support plans, appropriate
access arrangements, and specialist teaching strategies. This not only
improves academic progress but also builds confidence, resilience, and
self-belief in children who often feel left behind in educational settings.
These dual developments underscore Moon Hall’s unwavering
commitment to the future of specialist education and to addressing the
urgent, high-volume demand for accessible, high-quality assessments
both nationally and internationally.
“This is so much more than an expansion - it’s a statement of purpose,”
said Mrs Michelle Catterson, Executive Headteacher at Moon Hall. “The
opening of Moon Hall Cairo and the launch of mhacuk.com represent our
long-term vision to elevate and provide easy access to assessment,
understanding, and support. These are steps we take seriously, with
integrity and dedication to meaningful societal contribution.”
In line with our maintained vision of equity, the Assessment Centre
welcomes enquiries from anyone - you do not need to be connected to
Moon Hall School to access its services.
About Sponsorship Packages (Moon Hall Assessment Centre)
By becoming a sponsor, businesses will play a direct role in transforming
the lives of children and families who urgently need access to
assessments but face financial or systemic barriers.
Sponsorship will help fund essential diagnostic assessments for families
who would otherwise be unable to afford them. These assessments
enable early intervention, which is proven to significantly improve
educational outcomes by ensuring children receive the right support, at
the right time. In addition, any contributions will help reduce the lengthy
waiting times many families face, often over 18 months, by allowing us to
expand our capacity and respond to need more rapidly.
There will be flexible sponsorship packages to suit a variety of corporate
social responsibility goals and budgets. As a Gold Sponsor, there will be a
commitment to funding ten or more assessments each year. Silver
Sponsors pledge support for five to nine assessments annually, while
Bronze Sponsors contribute to between one and four assessments. We
also welcome bespoke sponsorship arrangements beyond these tiers -
any support, regardless of scale, can be life-changing for the individuals
it reaches.
In return, companies and/or individuals will benefit from enhanced
visibility, with opportunities to demonstrate commitment to inclusive
education and community support. There will be opportunities to connect
with other socially responsible organisations at our sponsorship
networking events, joining a growing community of partners committed to
real and lasting impact.
To learn more about becoming a sponsor, or to tailor a package to your
organisation, please get in touch here - we’d love to work with you.
