The Royal School were delighted to be able to support the Teams4U Christmas Shoebox Appeal, once again this year.
Sixth Form Charity Prefects presented assemblies to the pupils to talk about the charity's efforts to deliver boxes to communities across Eastern Europe, and this year will also include a delivery to Ukraine. The students explained how this small box is likely to contain the only gifts that a child may receive.
Organiser, Miss Elly Whitworth – Head of Girls’ PE, said, “It was fantastic to see over 50 shoeboxes come into school, wrapped in bright colours! Our local contact, Gill, said that she was touched by the School's support and was pleased that a small community like ours could produce so many boxes. Thank you to everyone that contributed, it really is and really will be appreciated.”
