This term, The Royal Senior School enjoyed a fascinating Royal Lecture from Gp Capt Brailsford, who kindly came to speak to the whole school. He provided the packed audience with a wonderful insight into his role as Her Majesty The Queen's Equerry. Having served in the Forces, Gp Capt Brailsford grasped the opportunity to work in the Royal Household, an all-consuming role but a time that he recounted very fondly.
Gp Capt Brailsford linked his talk to a number of the School’s Future Ready values, such a collaboration and initiative. Focusing on the importance of collaboration in his role as Equerry with other staff members and departments in the Royal Household.
It was a brilliant lecture and supported the importance of the unique and bespoke Future Ready curriculum that all pupils at The Royal School benefit from.
